On 27 November 2025, the Computer Science section met as part of the 78th ONMU student research and technical conference.
Section chair – D.Sc. (Eng.), Professor Mykola Malaksiano; deputy chair – PhD (Physics and Mathematics), Associate Professor Maryna Rozum; secretary – Senior Lecturer Serhii Konovalov.
M. V. Rozum addressed the conference participants with words of welcome.
The section's work was attended by students – D. D. Matviienko, O. M. Bumanskyi, A. O. Shamrai, A. Yu. Mironova, K. S. Stepaniuk, K. R. Biniovskyi – and by lecturers of the Prof. R. V. Merkt Department of Technical Cybernetics and Information Technologies.

The most attention was drawn by the interesting and timely presentations of Alla Mironova, group KN42, on "User identification by keystroke dynamics using neural networks" (supervisor – Associate Professor Yu. V. Daus) and Kira Stepaniuk, group KN31, on "Exploratory analysis of the success factors of global space missions" (supervisor – Associate Professor M. V. Rozum).

Five papers were published following the section's work.
1. D. D. Matviienko, N. O. Novikova. Algorithms for storing and processing large data sets using red-black search trees.
